New evidence reveals that the iPhone that Apple is custom designing for the Chinese market is destined for China Unicom- the china’s second-largest mobile carrier, and the only one with an iPhone-compatible 3G network. The phone carries Simplified Chinese characters reads “China Unicom”, and uses WCDMA 3G network.
From the AppleInsider, if Apple and China Unicom finalize a deal soon, iPhone could be released in China as early as September, about ¥3,000 ($430). Let’s have a look at it.
